Alor

Remote in the east far-flung tip of the Sundas islands, the diving in Alor is packed with a promise of unspoiled underwater adventure. Alor archipelago, where Alor island is the biggest, has healthy coral reefs, benthic diversity, spectacular macro and schooling fish. The volcanic island gives you great underwater topography and is great for black sand and muck diving. Though it is great for macro, you also have a chance to see some big life like mola molas, sharks, turtles and rays. You are also likely to spot dolphins and pilot whales from you dive boat.

How to get there?

As Maumere will serve as port of embarkation/disembarkation, you can fly to Maumere from Bali. Should you fly from Jakarta, you will need to make transit in Bali before flying to Maumere.
